The Indianapolis 500 Invitation

We were asked to create an invitation to the 86th Indianapolis 500 by the Indy Racing League. Each invitation was to include a model of the race car and details of the event, To make the presentation elegant, we designed a black acrylic box. These custom-built boxes were engraved with the Indianapolis 500 logo and the Indy Racing League logo. The invitation card inside was printed silver on black and had the Indianapolis Motor Speedway logo screened behind the type. The recipients were presented with a beautiful, mysterious package which revealed itself as they undid the ribbon, saw the logos, and then opened the box.
